Clinical Workflow

How RespiroScreen works in your practice

No additional hardware or prescribing changes are required. RespiroScreen adds acoustic monitoring for the COPD patients already under your care.

1
Downloads RespiroScreen app
Invite a patient by email or NHS email. They download the app, complete 5-minute onboarding, and begin the baseline period. No hardware needs shipping or collection.
2
The app records airway acoustics
Each morning, patient completes a 90-second breath check. During the first two weeks, AI establishes a personal acoustic baseline. Real-time monitoring and alerting start on day 15.
3
AI detects unusual pattern
If the model finds a change above the WATCH threshold, it issues an alert and identifies the acoustic feature involved. This informs clinical judgement without replacing it.
4
Clinician sees priority alerts in dashboard
CRITICAL patients appear first. Review the acoustic trend, record a clinical note, then arrange a telephone review or prescription adjustment directly from the dashboard.
Alert System

Three severity alert tiers

Alerts are prioritised rather than sent as undifferentiated noise. CRITICAL notifications arrive by email and in the dashboard, while NORMAL patients stay visible without interrupting routine work.
