Your Daily Routine

Four steps, one daily check

Your phone guides a simple 90 seconds routine each morning, giving your care team a clearer view between appointments.

Open the app
Start the app and follow the spoken instructions on your phone.
Take your breath check
Breathe as guided for 90 seconds while the app records your airway acoustics.
AI checks the sound
The AI checks each new recording against the patient's personal baseline and immediately flags any abnormal pattern to the care team.
Your clinician responds
A concern sends your clinician an alert. They may call, message you, or change your care plan before a crisis develops.

Patient Questions

Your questions, answered

No. You only need a smartphone running iOS 14 or Android 9. Most phones made after 2019 should work. Your clinician will confirm whether your phone is suitable.
An occasional missed check is fine. The AI reviews patterns across several days, so one gap does not create an alert or cause concern. Your clinician can see your recording history and allow for missed days.
If AI flags a concern, your clinician gets an alert and may call, message you, or change your care plan. In an emergency, call 999. For NHS non-emergency help, call 111. RespiroScreen does not replace emergency services.
RespiroScreen is available by clinical invitation only. Ask your respiratory consultant, COPD nurse, or GP if the practice uses it. If so, they can enrol you and send an email invitation. You cannot enrol yourself.
